My instructor recommended this $3 app on top of the $170 textbook for my multivariable calculus course, and I've gotten much more use out of the app than the book. It correctly recognizes virtually anything you input, and can even give you a step-by-step solution if needed. Best paid app I've ever installed.

It gives you the ability to run Wolfram Pro queries without a subscription. That's badass if you're a broke college student. WARNING: I entered all my calc homework into this app first year, but when I took the final I didn't know how to do the questions. This bug tanked my GPA! Please fix!!

This is an analytical browser used for integration and differentiation solving equations .. finding analytical data and plotting graphs and offers step by step solutions and alternatives. Some of the commentators don't get the function of it and end up giving it low ratings. it's amazing and has helped me immensely in my college days.

Cool but still so limited, it can't understand queries that even suggested by developers. I just went "examples" tab and chose"transportation", the first suggested search is "Mini Cooper Roadster", so I chose it, sadly I got this result "Wolfram does not know how to interpret your input". I like the idea of returning structured data instead of text-based google way but still needs either more data or more computing power to become really powerful.
